Go for it!!!

I have been recently reading in many news columns about this - Chak de India! It was a coincidence when this film was released and the energetic Indian cricket team packed with youngsters won the T20 world cup. As we know, CDI is a movie about the hockey coach SRK bringing up a woman's team with high spirits and training them down to win the World cup. Being a coach and turning team's vision is a success not only for the coach, but for the team and the nation as well.

After a series of movies like Iqbal, Lagaan and CDI, Indian B-Schools are targeting CDI's concepts to be a part of their curriculum. How did it make an impact? It's all because of the key factor called 'Team work'. It not only applies to sports but in any aspect of life. Be it a family or workplace. These are the two places where we spend most of our time. So, I am taking these two into consideration.

Let's consider the first item - Family.
Family is a team comprising of husband/wife/kids. There's no rule that only a wife should cook and a husband should clean a car. If any of them has a higher priority work other than that, the other can take care of those two and save time. By this way, he/she is learning how to do it but also saving time. It also shows team work and commitment. Isn't it?

Let's go to the later part - Work.
Everyone is busy at work. But if someone has issues or new to it, helping each other out and solving it defines success. Have you ever thought why corporates conduct Team building exercises and classes? Not everyone is a good team player and since that's the key factor to corporate success in moving up the ladder, they never mind spending huge amounts on it.

Attitude determines Altitude. If you have the right spirit and attitude to be a team player, success is not far away. Go for it!!!
