Billion Beats - A new initiative

The fragrance of flowers spreads in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all direction...

This is to spread the goodness of a person who is none other than our former president Dr.A P J Abdul Kalam, by creating awareness about his new mission - Billion beats – an e-paper aimed at creating vibrant knowledge connectivity among the people in India .

We, team Everest take total pride in passing this information to all our helping hands and make them aware of this wonderful initiative. We feel that sharing important information with others, which helps for the development of our country is also an important Social service activity needed to be carried out by teams like us.

This new e-paper will be uplinked to www.abdulkalam.com every fortnight. You can download the e-paper from www.abdulkalam.com for free of cost.

The speciality of Billion Beats is that there will be no politics, no crime and no negative news in it. Every Indian who is keen to put our country on the development track will have a say in billion beats.

Dr Kalam inaugurated the first issue of the e-paper — billion beats — during a mammoth Children's Day function in Karimnagar (Andhra Pradesh).

Addressing a gathering which encompassed over a lakh of students, Dr Kalam said billion beats will set a new tradition. “The paper will celebrate the success of the people wherever they are. It may be from an agricultural village, or fishing village, it may be from a dairy village, it may be from the industrial or service sector,” he said.

Terming billion beats as an ideal vehicle to capture success and spread its glad tidings, Dr Kalam said: “We have islands of success in every field of activity; we should connect them to make a garland. I am confident that billion beats would create knowledge connectivity among the people.”

Billion Beats is going to be the first e-paper which is going to carry only positive news, through which many positive news will come into limelight which are usually overshadowed by negatives in our daily newspaper. Let this Billion beats make a revolution in Indian Media and be a benchmark for all the newspapers and other media.
