Bits 'n' pieces...

'Click'ed...not on my camera, but through my optical mouse ;) When I read anything, I have the habit of bookmarking the pages that interests me and I'll read it more than once and keep it for future reads as well. That's how I clicked the below ones and marked it as bookmarks and pushed it down here. Most of these gave me a feeling that 'Changes are good sometimes and it's time to see a better world' and made me to listen to my favorite song of MJ's 'Heal the world'. And now for the pages,

1. Entrepreneurial dreams & politics:

SarathBabu - I have read about his life history when he started Foodking and very few people like him get to do something they determined for and make their dreams come true. I believe that he's the one who can create entrepreneurs down the lane.
His website on his election poll campaign: http://sarathbabu.co.in
2. Roses & thorns:

I haven't seen 'Ippadiku Rose' so far but planning to watch it soon.
3. Yes, we can:
I need not introduce this IT mentor - NarayanaMurthy. His recent interview excerpts here:

4. The 'Signal':
In US, it's a common thing that we can get updates about the ongoing traffic online or through a SMS. But I am not sure how many people know that Indian web kings have developed one there too.

5. Unplugged:
http://www.cultureunplugged.com/ - I watched 'Chicken a la carte' and it was amazing...Moviebuffs will not leave any of those listed there...Click it!

Browsers

I feel sick out of this IE and so does some of my friends. After I got this laptop, I have never been successful with IE. Whenever I open a session and close it..It'll say 'IE has currently stopped working. Check MS windows for solution'. I thought I did not install it properly and tried so many times like Ghajini Muhammed but failed miserably and hence stopped using it. My roomie had the same problem and some of my friends say the same thing. I don't know whether it's a vista thing or an IE thing but I switched to Mozilla and now trying the beta version of google's Chrome. Though I have installed chrome and wanted to use it few times to see its features and functionalities, my fingers automatically clicks on Mozilla once I log into my system. I did try using Chrome 1 or 2 times and I feel these two things are useful: 1. Autocomplete - which prompts with the webpages as and when you type 2.History - Page that appears on your screen everytime you use it. There may be flaw sides of Chrome too but did not dig enough to write it here.

New Search...

I guess most of today's hits on the web would be on 'Cuil' - the new search engine from a group of Googlers. Although there is more information on the net about Google and Cuil and how they are going to compete each other, I am going to get away from this topic.

I checked Cuil site and I dont want to compare it with Google site. But, the first and foremost thing that came to my mind after seeing it is:
Cuil - Looks more professional and well structered
Google - Looks so creative and unique

Lets see what happens in the next few years...

Peak of Annoyance...

I clicked it....
It shows connecting...
I looked eagerly...
It shows 'Connection takes a longer time than usual'...
I looked at it patiently...
It shows 'Identifying...'
I felt irritated...
It shows 'Move to another place'...
I felt annoyed but moved as suggested...
It shows 'There seems to be a problem'...
I looked like 'Din't you know it before that there was a problem?'
It shows 'Network adapter/driver doesn't function properly'
I updated the adapter/driver using Device manager
It still shows 'Cannot be connected'
Annoyed again...
It shows a message with a yellow triangle and an exclamatory mark inside
I got pissed off and disconnected it

When you are in US and you don't have an internet for a day, how do you feel? Don't you feel disconnected? Annoyed? I do...This is what happened y'day. The Internet has influenced people like me in US, a lot...Isn't it? I hope the internet connection gets better tomorrow like today :) And, don't you think the title sounds like 'Pursuit of Happyness'? Jus kidding!
