Beauty - A depreciating asset!

Got a forward from one of my friends about Beauty Vs Money. It was good to read and hence thought of posting it in my blog. Here is how it goes:

A young and pretty lady posted this on a popular forum:
Title: What should I do to marry a rich guy?

I'm going to be honest of what I'm going to say here. I'm 25 this year. I'm very pretty, have style and good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above. You might say that I'm greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York. My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary? Are you all married? I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you? Among those I've dated, the richest is $250k annual income, and it seems that this is my upper limit. If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York City Garden (?), $250k annual income is not enough.

I'm here humbly to ask a few questions:
1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names and addresses of bars, restaurant, gym)
2) Which age group should I target?
3) Why most wives of the richest is only average-looking? I've met a few girls who doesn't have looks and are not interesting, but they are able to marry rich guys
4) How do you decide who can be your wife, and who can only be your girlfriend? (my target now is to get married)

Ms. Pretty

Here's a reply from a Wall Street Financial guy:
Dear Ms. Pretty,

I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor. My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I’m not wasting time here. From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain. Put the details aside, what you're trying to do is an exchange of "beauty" and "money": Person A provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square. However, there’s a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can't be prettier year after year. Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a depreciation asset. It's not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worried 10 years later.

By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a "trading position". If the trade value dropped we will sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term - same goes with the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or "leased". Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool.

Hope this reply helps. If you are interested in "leasing" services, do

Gila Gila Gila...

I don't know whether this song from Aitraaz was a hit when it was released. But I am a great fan of this song. When I heard for the first time itself, I liked it and found it from esnips karoake and playing it again and again almost every day.

Basically, I like this song for two reasons:
1. It's not a melody, not a fast beat but a medley of both
2. The dance steps are not that great but it is simple and goes aptly with the song

When Kareena and Akshay dances with their fist closed and heads going side by side, automatically it comes to me too. That's the essence of this song and dance...for which I like it the most!

Adnan Sami and Sunidhi Chauhan has done their job perfectly.
Gila Gila Gila dil gila gila for this song! :)

B'day Bash & Gifts Galore!

Wait...No! It's not my B'day today. Suddenly B'day thoughts striked me and am here writing one about that. How did I celebrate my B'day over the ages? A snippet here:

Till my 10th Std, I have never celebrated my B'day or never had any thoughts to celebrate it. If I remember correctly, I have been to B'day parties of my cousins and friends only twice or thrice till that time.

My
first b'day party kicked off during my 10th Std when I had a gang of friends and I was popular among them for various reasons like: giving sweets to the whole class when Javagal Srinath takes more than 3 wickets or crowned as the 'Man of the Match'; When Superstar's acting is criticized by classmates and I get really angry and fight with them (The real action like Superstar does :)); Being the class rep and pointing to people who cheats teachers (How mean i was? :)); A champion in 'China Maina' game (Have to write a seperate post on this though :)) but the one who always goes near the high jump kattai and stand before it without jumping over it (Basically, was scared to do it!); Being the class topper and last but not the least for transforming from a linear to a cylinder like structure within years! Coming to the B'day party matter now and the way I celebrated it....(I might miss few things because of selective memory :))

@ School:
10th Std - Bunch of friends visited home and had nice food and cake. Guess what the gifts were?? He...he...Friends gifted a small scenic hanging (which was the usual gift those days) and a small Superstar photograph :) And my lovable sis gifted a large Javagal Srinath's poster. Was I that crazy, that people gifted all those posters? Well, I was!!!
11th Std - I don't even remember because I shifted to a new school and hardly got any close friends

12th Std - Now, a new gang has formed here and we were the best biology students by giving nick names to every other person in the class with botanical and zoological names as a secret code for us. What an
intelligence! We named a guy as 'Myasthenia Gravis' (which is related to some eye sight..still I remember, good memory na??) for his in depth ogle at others. This gang gave me a card which was full of some funny wordings which I don't remember exactly now...

@ College
1st Year - The reopening day was two days after my B'day and I was already in shock to wear sarees daily to college and hence din't show any interest to celebrate my B'day this year
2nd Year - As usual, got a great group of friends and this great circle was considered to be the best brains but cool buddies in college since each one of us had high aims like doing MS, MBA and used to talk about GMAT, CAT and GRE which most of them in college didn't understand at that period of time. But to admit, none of us in that friends circle went for any higher studies...we all flunked greatly and we regret till now! :( Vetti pechu veena pochu :):) Greeting cards of all cadre was considered to be the 'college type' gift those days and I got half a dozen of them...Half a dozen may not be great when compared to half of a century that my sister used to get and I usually end up in crying to my mom asking how can she get such a huge number when I get only card total ending in one digit. I was silly as any other person of that age :) But, I remember the cards that I got were engraved with some names whom people ottified me with (for no reason at all - It was a fun for people and so as for me too :))
Pre-Final Year - Man! I was dumbstuck to see that a large bag was not enough to hold all the gifts that I got this year. There were lot of good friends in the same class and in other classes, hostel, roomies, friends through Christ friend game and from a group of guys called JAFIERS who prepared 'Kesari' from home and got it for me. And the evening was splendind with my close friends circle chit chatting about all the gifts that I got. When I had lots, one of my close friend got double the amount of gifts than me and we both created a record for the top two positions of gift getters :))
Final Year - All senti cards and Friendship quotes stuck on my wall for this year.
After 4 years of great college life and a good number of friends, this celebration din't get a full stop there.

@ work:
I was surprised to receive a bouquet (have never got one before and after this) from one of my good friend whom we call the 'Health Guru' and a book (she knows my inclination towards books). Got a
series of presents for next few Bdays like books, dresses, lamp, camera, wallet, wall hangings and cards as usual. But nothing can beat with a pose of having Javagal Srinath and Superstar posters in my hands...Jus kiddin' :):)

Nowadays B'day celebrations have stopped and as before, I don't have any expectations or excitements for B'days. But to be honest, gifts always excite me and anyone for that matter....Do you agree?

Movie Time

It's a day off from work and hence watched three movies from y'day night. The list goes in the chronological order :)

1. Premonition (featuring Sandra Bullock & Julian McMohan) - Sandra has a craziest week with alternate twists before and after the day of Julian's death. She is shocked to hear Julian's death in a car accident from the cop but the storyline picks up the next day which is the actual day of Julian's death. This creates confusion and lots of question may arise until you watch the whole movie
2. The Illusionist - Edward Norton plays as Eisenheim who has some supernatural magical powers. He's in love with sophie (Jessica Biel) who is the princess of Vienna and his childhood friend. Edward's theatrical perfomance offends Prince Leopald who aims to marry Jessica. A tale of romantic rivalry and enigmatic craft of illusion is the main storyline
3. The Man from Earth (featuring David Lee smith as the lead actor) - Professor John Oldman (David Lee) meets his friends for his sendoff party. The party becomes mysterious when he reveals that he is an immortal who has lived over 14,000 years. A good sci-fi movie worth watching!

Movie Time is over :):) And it's my time to munch dinner...Catch you all later!

Dance...Dance

As my 'Who am I?' in my blogspot says, I have a great passion for dance. Since from childhood, it's in my nerves and still it is! :) The reason I started writing this post is the aftermath of watching 'Jodi #1' Grand finale.

I have been watching dance shows like JN1, Nach Baliye, Masthana Masthana and Maanada Mayilada. Don't ever ask me about the last one which has a senthamizh title - Me and my roommate have been doing research to find why that has such a great title (basically, I didn't like the title) The title is not catchy but the choreography for some dances are. If I have to write about each show, then I would end up mixing this and that and hence going to confine myself to JN1.

Highlights/My Views on JN1:
1. Simbhu has been given the most coveted position and always aimed for making sound judgements although there are two other judges. When a veteran like Master Sundaram is on the judge panel or the podium, I felt Simbhu has been given more priority than the other two
2. I totally stand with the honest comments given by judges
3. I don't know why they have some episodes on the personal side of all the participants. Noone cares how Tinku celebrates his Diwali or Aishwarya gets vegetables from the market. But the episodes on the practice sessions is fine, although it's kind of boring (I usually skip these)
4. The worst thing is everyone commenting the anchor in front of all the audience. Although she took casually (atleast in TV, that's what I noticed) pulling DD's leg all the time is not fair
5. From the whole crowd of participants, my vote for the best performer would be Nisha for her emotions, the 'feel' factor, chemistry, consistency, ease of steps that comes to her automatically and the smile in her face when she performs
6. My next vote would be for Irfan for coming through all the way from not a dancer to a Ok dancer to a good dancer although there were lots of better dancers than him
7. The best pair as everyone knows is Tinku/Preethi because of their flawless performance almost all the time they performed
8. The cute one in this troupe is none other than Monisha

All this and JB & Co., dance group reminded me of my dance performances. However, I don't want to write them here now.

Let's wait and watch who's going to be crowned for the JN1 title and win the Chevy car. 3 days more to know the results!

Catch ya then....

SFH - Before & After

I wrote a blog post on Peter Robinson's 'Snapshots from the Hell' sometime back, before reading it - It was a preview! Now, I have come up with a review after reading it.

As usual, I was excited to read it, after ordering it from Amazon. To be honest, PR took me to an MBA class but sometimes I felt bored to read a few pages when he was dealing with a classroom problem. I know the reason for the boredom - I couldn't get what the problem was all about even after reading it twice and gave up finally! But, there are few things that I liked the most which are
1. Case study of Southwest Airlines
2. P&G's strategies
3. Interview with Steve Jobs

Also,I agree to the lines about marriage and entrepreneurship that took a stance in general in this book.

The lines that Jennifer (PR's classmate) says 'A woman is allowed to marry a man who has more education than she has. But no man wants to marry a woman who has more education than he has, especially not a woman who might make more money'

And about Entrepreneur(ship): 'It's one's will to conquer, the impulse to fight, dare to take risks, to prove oneself, to succeed and there's joy of creating, getting things done, exercising one's energy and ingenuity'

Above all, I enjoyed reading different case studies, business strategies, about Harvard and Stanford and giants like McKinsey & Co., Goldman Sachs, Apple, Lehmann Brothers.

To comment in a line: A book worth reading before earning an MBA degree.

Now, got the next book to read : Jack Welch's 'Winning'. And waiting for Steve job's new one 'Options' where his 'Idol' is in my book club queue already:):)

Around your fears???

After a great session of 'phobia' discussion with my friends, thought of posting one in my blog. And this is the essence of it :):)

Although there is quite a number of 'phobia's' in the web and I know only the common ones like Acro, Agora, Arachno, Hydro etc.., I have chosen the 'high fives' which I never knew would be inside the phobia pack. To be honest, it took sometime to pronounce each one, although it's not a tongue twister :):)

Can you imagine one who has a fear of computers? I've never heard such a thing. And it's called Logizomechanophobia.

While it is a reign of culinary blogs on the web (Thanks to Tim Berner's Lee for creating 3W's - Worldwide web), is there a thing called 'Fear of cooking'? Yeah, it is - Mageirocophobia.

Are you one among those linguistic whiz who has an interest in learning foreign languages? Then, you might not know this - 'Fear of foreign languages' - Xenoglossophobia.

Wat a number - 666? Is it a satan number? Obviously it should be in the phobia's cadre. What is it called? Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia...Ethana HEXA's..podhuma? :)

This is ultimate - Have you experienced this before? Fear of seeing oneself in mirror? I swear I don't have that phobia. It's Eisoptrophobia.

I don't want to extend this phobia list as well as to create a new record of putting a phobia of phobia listing. Do you get what I mean? :)

Happy Phobia reading!

Billion Beats - A new initiative

The fragrance of flowers spreads in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all direction...

This is to spread the goodness of a person who is none other than our former president Dr.A P J Abdul Kalam, by creating awareness about his new mission - Billion beats – an e-paper aimed at creating vibrant knowledge connectivity among the people in India .

We, team Everest take total pride in passing this information to all our helping hands and make them aware of this wonderful initiative. We feel that sharing important information with others, which helps for the development of our country is also an important Social service activity needed to be carried out by teams like us.

This new e-paper will be uplinked to www.abdulkalam.com every fortnight. You can download the e-paper from www.abdulkalam.com for free of cost.

The speciality of Billion Beats is that there will be no politics, no crime and no negative news in it. Every Indian who is keen to put our country on the development track will have a say in billion beats.

Dr Kalam inaugurated the first issue of the e-paper — billion beats — during a mammoth Children's Day function in Karimnagar (Andhra Pradesh).

Addressing a gathering which encompassed over a lakh of students, Dr Kalam said billion beats will set a new tradition. “The paper will celebrate the success of the people wherever they are. It may be from an agricultural village, or fishing village, it may be from a dairy village, it may be from the industrial or service sector,” he said.

Terming billion beats as an ideal vehicle to capture success and spread its glad tidings, Dr Kalam said: “We have islands of success in every field of activity; we should connect them to make a garland. I am confident that billion beats would create knowledge connectivity among the people.”

Billion Beats is going to be the first e-paper which is going to carry only positive news, through which many positive news will come into limelight which are usually overshadowed by negatives in our daily newspaper. Let this Billion beats make a revolution in Indian Media and be a benchmark for all the newspapers and other media.

T20 captions!!!

This is my 50th post since I started blogging. I don't have a bat to acknowledge like the cricketers do. I felt it's been some time I came up with a game/contest.

I guess I am obsessed with cricket after watching series of news with respect to Cricketing like Gambhir-Afridi clash, Kumble's new role and Atapattu's inclusion in the SL team. And hence gave the title to my 50th post as 'T20 (Twenty Twenty) captions!'

A company is identified by its slogan/tagline or caption (whatever name it is supposed to be called). If you look at the TV commercials, every brand comes with a caption. Knowing it is a fun!

As decided, am posting a contest to identify the captions. Give it a try!!! Some of them are really kewl enough which I never knew that these were those company's slogans.

Here we go with the T20 captions:
Your World. Delivered
Raising the Bar
Forever new frontiers
Better sound through research
Taking you forward
The Possibilities are infinite
Built for the road ahead
Imagination at work
A Virtual world of live pictures
We never forget who we are working for
Digital DNA
Have it your way
We got it. We get it
How are you?
Zoom Zoom
One client at a time
Born to play
Watch yourself change
The power of you
Fly like an eagle

Since this comprises of 20 captions and the total points is 20, my title makes sense, isn't it? :)

Try it and post your answers. I'll post the results this Friday!

Luck Vs Fate

Does any English dicionary define Luck = Fate? Check it out! Oxfords, Websters can help you out!

Most of us want to be a master of our own destiny. But can one decide their own fate? Answer is yes and no :) Fate is something that decides the succession of events which is an uncontrolling power. Luck, on the other hand comes at random. Say, for example - You din't prepare a topic for your Digital Design exam in which that topic is considered to be the most important and a sure shot question in the exam. When all your other friends have read it 5/6 times and it din't appear in your exam, everyone is surprised. But you are the only one to be happy sitting in your exam table. Do you call it as luck or Fate? Obviously, it's luck!!! Luck is chance that happens at random. But fate occurs with choices and limits.

What guides us to our destiny? This is a question of introspection and a topic debatable. Although we can set goals and strive hard to get them, there is no guarantee that we will achieve what we desired. What has to happen, will happen. Say for example, you are planning to go to your favourite restaurant thinking about all the food there when you drive. You are going there after a long time and you are excited to taste all that you like. But you came to know that it's closed after you arrive there. You will definitely be disappointed after yearning for the taste buds. Will you think it as a good luck or bad luck? It's neither bad luck nor fate! You could have called the restaurant and enquired whether they will be open. It was under your control which you failed to act upon!

My view is 'Get disappointed and devastated only when something that you desired went out of you which was under your control. If something is not under your control and it went out of your hands, be cheerful and wait for tne next opportunity'. I know, It's easy said than done! Don't think of the outcome before you try. Unless you knock the door, it won't open. That's the way you create opportunities. Isn't it?

A small real life example here:
I was talking to one of my friends about my blogs and the blogs that I read frequently. In my lexicon, frequently is daily :) I was telling her that 70% of the blogs that I peek @, has had no updates for sometime and they have stopped blogging. We both were making fun of each other saying - 'Namma blogs dhaan neraya peru padikka maetengranga, naamalavadhu ivanga blogsa padikalamna, ivangalum stop pannitanga..All fate!' Although we weren't worried, we felt a bit of disappointment. But we both reiterated the same thing after few mins, 'It's not under our control and there's no need to get disappointed' Chillax!!!

And I am gonna continue my blogging as it's my passion...
It's time to work out! See you all in my next blog post!

Back to the future!!!

Ashok and Rajyashri are coming from US to India and they meet their Grandfather first after landing India. Ashok is very curious to Know about India and its cultural diversity and so does Rajyashri. Hence they both make a deal with their Grandpa to go in his time machine (although the license has expired :):)) to see India - 'A Journey through Time'.

Wondering what am I talking about? Hmmm, this is the theme of COS Indian community's Diwali cultural show where I happened to be y'day night.
It was great to see all fellow Indians in traditionals including me :) and especially the smile on their faces amazed me! It's indeed a great effort of the organisers for making a cast of 200 people among which 30% of them were small kids. Age wasn't a matter when I saw performances given by all age groups ranging from 2-50. You can add +/- 5 to the greater number :) Although I cherished each and every moment, I missed being on stage with my performance. Hope to make it next time though!

Started with an address from CO Mayor and recognitions at 4 p.m. It took us from the Indus valley civilisation, Harappa Mohenjadaro period, Mughal period, Buddha's evolution, Silapathikaram to the modern era. I was dumbstuck by the performance of cute little kids for various dances. When everyone was screaming and shouting when their state dance was on the stage, I was waiting for my turn and I was not cheated. It did come through one of my favourite songs from 'Iruvar' with an epic taste 'Narumugaiye' and without any hesitation, I was singing in the background (I was sure that nobody could hear it :):))

It was a total cultural fiesta and I enjoyed it totally! Ashok and Rajyashri were enjoying the show with their Grandpa giving details about each and every aspect of India. The BGM and settings were too good which actually made us to be on the scene virtually. Hats off to the entire crew! It has been sometime since I sang the Indian National Anthem and good that I sang perfectly along with everyone when the show concluded.

That's the end of Diwali Dhamaka here.

Go for it!!!

I have been recently reading in many news columns about this - Chak de India! It was a coincidence when this film was released and the energetic Indian cricket team packed with youngsters won the T20 world cup. As we know, CDI is a movie about the hockey coach SRK bringing up a woman's team with high spirits and training them down to win the World cup. Being a coach and turning team's vision is a success not only for the coach, but for the team and the nation as well.

After a series of movies like Iqbal, Lagaan and CDI, Indian B-Schools are targeting CDI's concepts to be a part of their curriculum. How did it make an impact? It's all because of the key factor called 'Team work'. It not only applies to sports but in any aspect of life. Be it a family or workplace. These are the two places where we spend most of our time. So, I am taking these two into consideration.

Let's consider the first item - Family.
Family is a team comprising of husband/wife/kids. There's no rule that only a wife should cook and a husband should clean a car. If any of them has a higher priority work other than that, the other can take care of those two and save time. By this way, he/she is learning how to do it but also saving time. It also shows team work and commitment. Isn't it?

Let's go to the later part - Work.
Everyone is busy at work. But if someone has issues or new to it, helping each other out and solving it defines success. Have you ever thought why corporates conduct Team building exercises and classes? Not everyone is a good team player and since that's the key factor to corporate success in moving up the ladder, they never mind spending huge amounts on it.

Attitude determines Altitude. If you have the right spirit and attitude to be a team player, success is not far away. Go for it!!!

Mind - 'The Trump card'

One's own mind is the trump card for making decisions. It's a powerful tool without which you are not prone to circumstances and conditions that you most desire to have in your life.

Have you ever heard of overpowering mind? I have heard about (sub)conscious mind but not this overpowering mind. It's the mind which is being overpowered/influenced by someone's thoughts/ideas/views. People! wait!!! No...It's not what you think. I am not talking about being in love with someone and thinking about him/her. That's different! To illustrate what I meant, here is an example.

Everyone of us comes to a situation where we have to decide on something..Say, you are going to a shopping mall and you come across a deep yellow top and excited to grab it. You have come with a group of friends. Yellow is not the color that I like neither your bunch of buddies that you came along with. After grabbing it and running towards your friends to ask their opinion, you approach them and ask - Hey..Howz that? All your friends say they din't like it and you can very well see their expression. Will you still take it since you liked it or look for something else? I guess most of us fall in the second category. You would be still thinking, 'Is that yellow shirt so bad?' and move to the other sections to take something. This is called overpowering mind. Someone else's view about the shirt as 'bad' made you to hesitate in taking it. Is it not the one that you liked?? Then, why did you leave it? Don't you think your thoughts are ruled by someone?

If you analyse, the overpowering mind occurs almost everyday in everyone's life. We can categorise that as seeking opinion rather than paraphrasing as 'overpowering mind'. But at some instances, it's not actually.

Once my friend came to seek my opinion on something (after seeking lot other's views) and I was giving a totally different perception and he got confused. This is what happens when you seek opinion from lots of people. Perceptions differ from person to person. But what you sow is what you reap. So when it's your matter, try to think and take a decision by yourself. So that, for whatever result, there's noone else to be blamed other than you. By that, you won't feel you are misled by someone and develop a bad feeling on them. Also, you'll become self-driven and independent although you fail at times. That's the biggest '+' in this. Use your 'trump card' to get most out of what you feel/like.

After writing all this, am thinking 'Does this makes sense? Let me use my trump card now :):):)

Take 2...

Music alleviates one's heart. Noone can deny this fact. Although I am not a good singer, I like singing..If not before the crowd, but when I am alone. How generous I am, by not disturbing anyone...:)

After a hiatus, back with one of my favourite tracks. I was casually singing this song in the background when it was playing in my ipod and I thought 'Why can't I record this?' The result is here...

Ennule.mp3

I call this as 'Take 2' bcoz there are 2 voices being heard...One is the actual voice of the song and the other is of mine. But here it's topsy-turvy...The actual voice in background and mine in the foreground. I didn't want to ruin the song but at the same time, I wanted to give it a try. I was trying the Beta version of esnips in my blog by posting the 'Titanic' karoake yday.
And now, esnips paved me the way to record this song of mine, after audacity gave me a 'fail' case status.

After I recorded and played back, I felt the volume should have been a bit high. Anyways, it's done! You know what??? This song is in repeat mode in my ipod...Not the song that I rendered...the 'actual' song.

Is it a worthy try? You've to tell me. I guess, the actual voice would have covered most of my flaws :):) Isn't it?

Snapshots from Hell

Writing a book review before reading it...Jus making an attempt here :) 4 years back, one of my friends told me about this book. When I tried to remember the name of the book few months back, I couldn't, but I tried a lot to get the name...but my attempts ended in vain. Finally made it today and thanks to my great memory, it's this book that I am talking about in the next few lines.

Snapshots from hell - The making of MBA. Huh...I've been waiting to read this book for a long time....But I could find this neither in library nor in my memory. Is it a book on demand? I don't have an answer...I've read the prologue and few pages from the web and it's provoking my interest a lot. So, finally placed a hold in the local library and am gonna wait for a week... If not, planning to place an order in Amazon.

I am so inclined to this book without even reading the whole book. This is because the way the few pages that I read, were narrated. It took me to the scenario itself. Although there are rave reviews about this book, i see it in a different angle.

A gist of the author and the book here...

This is a book written by Peter Robinson, a Stanford Graduate. This is an attempt to answer the question: "What is business school really like?" During his first year at Stanford Business School in America, the author began keeping a journal of his day-to-day impressions which evolved into this book.
The harrowing days of Maths classes, course galore, frenzy of exams, pitfalls of interviews - an insight to an MBA and B-School - You can find all these here. Let me see how I think/feel after reading the book. But this time, my slogan is 'Wait no more' (only a week :):))
